Dear CSI Seaford Family,

As we have entered in to a new year, I am filled with gratitude for the moments we have shared, the challenges we have overcome, and the blessings we have witnessed as a community. It is a time to reflect, to draw inspiration from the sacred words of the Bible, and to embark on a journey of renewal and spiritual growth.

In Isaiah 43:19, we are reminded that God is continuously at work, bringing forth new things in our lives. As we look to the future, let us be open to perceiving the divine transformations that may unfold, trusting that His plans for us are filled with hope and purpose.

The apostle Paul, in Philippians 3:13-14, encourages us to press on toward the goal, acknowledging that the journey of faith is marked by progress and perseverance. The experiences of the past year, both triumphant and challenging, have shaped us for this very moment. Let us carry the lessons learned and move forward with renewed determination and reliance on God’s grace.

Romans 15:13 extends a heartfelt prayer for the new year – that the God of hope may fill us with joy and peace as we believe in Him. This verse serves as a beacon, guiding us to approach the coming year with hearts full of hope, trusting in the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.

As we ponder these scriptures, let us also consider some thoughts for the new year:

1. Gratitude: In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we are reminded to give thanks in all circumstances. This new year, let us cultivate a spirit of gratitude, recognizing and appreciating the abundant blessings that surround us.

2. Unity: Paul’s plea for unity in 1 Corinthians 1:10 resonates deeply. As a community, let us commit to fostering harmony and understanding, embracing the diversity within our parish and standing united in the love of Christ.

3. Faith: Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. May our faith be a guiding light in the coming year, anchoring us in the certainty of God’s promises even during uncertainties.

In closing, I extend my hearty blessings to each one of you for the new year. May the Lord’s grace be abundant, His love unwavering, and His guidance ever-present in our lives. Let us journey together in faith, hope, and love, strengthened by the timeless truths of His Word.
