Youth Fellowship
The Youth Fellowship of the CSI Malayalam Congregation of Greater NY is a group led by, and for the ministry of, the next generation of our church. The group serves to further enrich the young members of our church in their spirituality and faith as they navigate some of the more formative years of their lives. We aim to train each other up in biblical knowledge, create spaces to experience Christ, and to put our faith into practice. The Youth Fellowship conducts bible studies, praise and worship nights, discussion forms, and aim to organize a few service activities each year, with the core intent to glorify God. The Youth leadership body consists of elected youth members and is presided by our Vicar. The current Youth Committee members are as listed below.

The main aim of the Women’s Fellowship is to unite the women in our church and to help them grow in deeper spiritual life through prayer, Bible study, services and witnessing. The Fellowship does many charities both in the USA and in India using the funds collected through bake sale and voluntary contributions from our members. The first Sunday in March is celebrated as Women’s Fellowship Sunday and the Fellowship members take active role in the worship service on that Sunday.

Choir
“Both young men and maidens, old men and children: let them praise the name of the Lord" Psalm 148: 12.
The choir of CSI Malayalam Congregation of Greater NY was formed in the very young age of the congregation in 1983, when the congregation was settled in Woodhaven, NY. Many talented people from different walks of life contributed to its formation. They were all members of many different parishes in Kerala. By the early 1990’s, the choir was formed into its present form with around fifty dedicated members, both young and old. It is commendable that the young generation has taken up the challenge of learning to sing in a language unfamiliar to them. This choir has been an inspiration for many other CSI congregations in USA. May God continue to bless the services of this choir for the glory of His name alone.

Gems
The GEMS was formed in 2011 with the intent to provide a place for the young adults of the congregation to assemble with others on a similar path. A group that falls between the Youth and Almaya Fellowships, which has its own unique contribution to the Church.
The fellowship had a rebirth in the fall of 2016. Since then we have been meeting together monthly and more recently on a quarterly basis due to the COVID pandemic. Meetings consist of time to have discussions about matters that concern our spiritual growth, ask questions about faith, and time for fellowship.
The members of the GEMS actively participate in the yearly Church activities such as Vacation Bible School, Picnic, and Harvest Festival to name a few. They also provide guidance to the activities of the Youth Fellowship.
GEMS fellowship strives to provide a safe environment for anyone navigating faith to discover who God is and find your God-given purpose together with others on the same journey.
